“If these work, why aren’t you doing them yourself?”

Fair question. In fact, I’d ask the same if I was reading an article like this.

To be transparent, I am working on at least one of these. But even if I wasn’t, the truth is that in business, execution matters more than creativity. Thousands upon thousands of million-dollar business ideas are born every day. Most die because the person who thought of it either didn’t act, or tried but failed.

Basically, I’m not too worried about competition at this stage.

On the other hand, I wrote this article because I think sharing ideas is a valuable exercise, even if it doesn’t result in action.

Writing out concepts is a great way to think critically. It also just might spark an idea in you, the reader. For me, the potential to inspire creativity in others makes it worth it.

So with that out of the way, here’s five million-dollar business ideas I’ve been thinking about recently.
