Scott, I completely agree with the details you've laid out here. However, I disagree with the idea that taxing the rich is the solution.

I'm not against taxing the rich. However, in 2023, the IRS generated over $4.7 trillion in tax revenue.

The problem isn't that the gov isn't generating enough money. If it was, increasing tax on the wealthy might be a legitimate fix.

The problem is that all the problems you mentioned exist despite $4.7 trillion in tax revenue.

In other words, the real problem seems to be how the government is allocating that money.
