I want to note that just because something is foreign made does not automatically mean it was made in poor working conditions. Alibaba has lifted a lot of poor Chinese workers into the middle class.

While my personal preference is for locally made goods, it’s also very possible to buy foreign as a means of helping the poor in other countries.
