As for small businesses, I think it’s all about how you pitch the value of your services. There are still businesses out there, for example, that don’t have an online presence but keep hearing about how they should. If you approached them and showed them how having a website could get them 10 extra leads or increase foot traffic by X%, $1k/month would be a wholly reasonable pitch.
