Great write up, very clearly explained. Many seem to be getting caught up in the semantics - "oh you're a Substack writer." "Oh you're a Twitter guru." But those are just platforms.

The real value, as you've explained, is that creators are building individual brands (not unlike the D'Amelios on TikTok). Once they've established their audience, they can take them to any platform they want.
